»Our Program«

The most northern regional office of the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation is at home in the town of Luebeck, a member of the German Hansa and a venue full of tradition. We offer a wide scope of full-day adult education programs and evening events in the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Mecklenburg-Pommerania. We co-operate with numerous local liberal partners between Flensburg and Greifswald to guarantee that our work is embedded within civic society. In the Middle Ages life within the Hansa was a concrete example of an active civil society. The Luebeck regional office wants to supply cornerstones for a future civil society: by organising events on liberal, social and economic policies or on the future of democracy and the rule of law. Not forgetting the local topics that citizens are preoccupied with.
